Built in the hills with south views, this Case Study House #21 is surrounded by pools and brick terraces. The house, built in 1958 is also known as the Bailey House and was designed by Pierre Koening. The Bailey house is located at 9036 Wonderland Park Avenue in Los Angeles.
This 2 bedroom house was designed to have water pumped from the pool to the roof gutter and then return to the pool using hydraulics to aerate the pool. The house was built using a series of 10 x 22 foot bays, 9 feet high composed of an 8 in I Beam.
