Designed with Joseph Moore and Alfred Day. Developed by the Advance Development Company for the Mar Vista Housing Tract.  Bennett B. Poles was the builder. By rotating the floor plan in different directions, the architects were able to create variation between the houses. Landscape architect Garrett Eckbo planted trees from five continents throughout the neighborhood to create a park-like setting. The development was designated a Los Angeles Historic Preservation Overlay Zone in 2003.
