Located in Los Angeles, the Pueblo Del Rio project was started in 1940 by the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles.
Taking 2 years to complete (1941 / 1942) it is located on 52nd Street and Longe Beach Avenue. Built for defence industry workers durring World War 2, the project covered 17.5 acres and was built maily of brick masonry and re-enforced masonry due to the lack of steel durring the war effort. Each building of the 57 two story apartment buildings contained 6, 7 or 8 units.
