Julius Shulman was known to  take  time  to experience local citizens, culture and to memorialize it’s interesting buildings and locations. While in Italy he photograph landmarks such as the  Leaning Tower of Pisa, Villa d’Este,  Portofino and the Colosseum. Shulman was honored in Venice, Italy, receiving a sculpture and a magazine feature in 1999. Shulman loved Italy and took extensive photographs.

Shulman signature on recto in white ink and noted “Portofino” also on recto in  white ink ” Studio stamp on verso by Shulman at his Hollywood Hills studio.

Unframed on backboard: Paper size: 24″ x 36 ”  ( 60.96 cm. x  91.44 cm.)
