Richard J. Neutra designed “The Chuey House” for poet Josephine Ain and her third husband painter Robert Chuey. The house featured a dramatic deck cantilevered over a cliff. Josephine Ain had lived in a Neutra house when she was young. The house was called “An elegant essay on indoor-outdoor living”
