During World War ll, Shulman brought this framed print to the Jewish Welfare Fund USO location in Hollywood, California.
He asked that the print stay in the building for the duration of the war. Also included here is a copy of the back of the framed print noting Shulman’s original Pickford Street home address.

Gelatin Silver Print: Framed: 11 in. x 14 in. (27.94 cm. x 35.56 cm.).

Shulman’s signature on print recto and noted on lower front of print “San Dune Detail”

This framed picture is part of the Julius Shulman Estate and came directly from Shulman’s Hollywood Hills Home.
