The Chemosphere House, located in the Hollywood Hills is an eight sided (octagon) house built in 1960 and designed by architect John Lautner. The house was named “The most modern home built in the World” by the Encyclopedia Britannica. Originally built for Leonard Malin and later owned by Dr. Richard Kuhn, the home today is owned by Benedikt Taschen who is credited with restoring and preserving the home.
