Calvin Chester Straub FGAIA (March 16, 1920-October 21, 1998) was both a architect and an educator. As a professor of architecture at the University of Southern California (1946) and Arizona State University (1961-1988) he shared his confidence and passion for life with his students.

Durring his long career, he often discussed projects with other talented architects of his time such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Henry Mather Green, R.M. Schindler and working for Richard Neutra
