Located at the corner of Wilshire Blvd. and La Brea, Tilfords Restaurant and cocktail lounge was designed by architects Welton Becket who was born in Seattle on August 8, 1902 and died in Los Angeles on January 16, 1969 and Walter C. Wurdeman who was born in Wisconsin on August 2, 1903 and died on September 17, 1949. Becket designed the Capital Records Building and the LAX Theme Restaurant
